01About NoviqCare and these Terms
NoviqCare is a sole proprietorship registered in British Columbia, Canada. These Terms describe use of the NoviqCare website, its hair and scalp information, Hair Check, available account and My Reports features, and Provider Bridge where offered.
Some features have their own instructions, acknowledgements or consent steps. Those steps apply to the feature concerned. Please read these Terms before using interactive features. If you do not agree with them, do not use those features. Nothing in these Terms takes away rights you have under applicable law.
02Eligibility
Hair Check is intended for people aged 18 or older and asks users to confirm that they meet that age threshold. This does not establish an age-verification service or a single age rule for every part of the website.
Use an account or submit information for another person only where the applicable feature permits it and you have appropriate authority.
03Educational information, not medical care
NoviqCare publishes evidence-informed information about hair and scalp concerns and provides educational decision support. Website content and Hair Check are not individualized medical advice and do not diagnose or treat a condition. They do not replace assessment or care from a qualified professional.
NoviqCare is not an emergency service. If you may need urgent care, seek appropriate local medical or emergency assistance. Do not delay professional care because of something you read on the site or in a report.
04Hair Check and Hair Decision Reports
Hair Check uses the information you submit to generate educational findings, safety guidance and a non-diagnostic Hair Decision Report. A report depends on the answers provided and the product's available decision rules. It may not capture every relevant circumstance or predict an individual outcome. Use it as a starting point for understanding your concern and deciding whether to seek qualified care, not as a diagnosis or treatment plan.
A guest can receive a report in the current experience without NoviqCare keeping the assessment and report as persistent guest report history. Limited operational, session, website or security records and optional feedback may still exist. When signed in, assessment sessions and reports may be saved with an account where that functionality is available. The Privacy Policy explains these distinctions in more detail.
05Accounts and My Reports
Some features may require an account and sign-in. Where available, My Reports may show saved assessments, reports, history or comparisons linked to the authenticated account holder.
Take reasonable care of your sign-in details and do not let someone else use your account without authorization. If you suspect unauthorized access to your account or information, contact privacy@noviqcare.com.
06Provider Bridge and participating providers
Provider Bridge is a separate participating-provider workflow. It requires a dedicated consent step before a provider is authorized to access relevant information for a care episode. Authorization is limited to the particular provider, episode and approved scope. Simply using Hair Check does not automatically send every answer or report to a provider or give a provider unrestricted account access.
Within an authorized episode, a participating provider may review relevant information and a provider brief, record care-plan actions and follow-up information, and use available comparisons. The participating provider is responsible for their own professional services and decisions. NoviqCare provides the information workflow; it does not independently become the treating provider or create a doctor–patient relationship with you.
You may withdraw future access under an authorization. Withdrawal does not necessarily erase information already held. Access after withdrawal requires a separate, explicit new consent and authorization; a revoked authorization is not silently restored. The Privacy Policy explains related information handling and requests.
07Your responsibilities
Provide information you reasonably believe to be accurate when using Hair Check, an account or Provider Bridge. Do not impersonate someone else or submit another person's personal information without appropriate authority. If information changes or a report raises a concern, use your judgment and seek qualified professional advice where appropriate.
08Acceptable use
Do not use NoviqCare unlawfully; attempt to access another person's account or information without authorization; bypass consent, provider or care-episode access limits; interfere with the website or its security; or use malicious automation that disrupts the service. Do not misrepresent your identity or authority in a care-episode or privacy-request workflow.
09NoviqCare content and intellectual property
NoviqCare's name, branding and original website content belong to NoviqCare or the relevant rights holders. Material from other sources remains subject to those rights holders' rights. These Terms do not transfer ownership of third-party material to NoviqCare.
You may use the website content and a Hair Decision Report provided to you for your own informational purposes, including discussing the report with a qualified professional. Do not sell or present substantial NoviqCare content as your own. These Terms do not claim ownership of the personal information you submit; its handling is explained in the Privacy Policy.
10Third-party links and services
The site may link to independent resources or rely on services needed to operate. An independent site is responsible for its own content, terms and privacy practices. A link does not mean NoviqCare guarantees or endorses every statement or service on that site.
11Feature availability and changes
NoviqCare's features may vary during the current pilot and may be updated, interrupted or discontinued. We do not promise uninterrupted access, a particular uptime level or that every feature will remain available in its current form. Any change remains subject to applicable law and to the consent and authorization requirements relevant to the feature.
12Privacy
The Privacy Policy explains how NoviqCare handles personal information, including guest and signed-in Hair Check use, account-linked reports, Provider Bridge authorization and privacy requests. The Privacy Center offers a shorter guide. These Terms do not replace either document.
13Accuracy, responsibility and legal rights
We aim to keep information useful and current, but hair and scalp knowledge, product rules and individual circumstances can change. We do not guarantee that every item of content or report is complete, error-free or suitable for a particular person's situation, and we do not promise a particular care or hair outcome.
Nothing in these Terms excludes responsibility that NoviqCare cannot lawfully exclude or limits a right or remedy that applicable law does not allow you to waive. Responsibility for a particular loss or dispute is determined under applicable law.
14Changes to these Terms
We may revise these Terms as the product or applicable requirements change. The date at the top will identify the published version. A revised version applies to future use from its effective date, subject to any notice or consent required by law. We will not treat silence as consent where express consent is required.
15Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of British Columbia and the applicable federal laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory law that applies to you. This section does not restrict the jurisdiction of a court or tribunal that has authority under applicable law or remove non-waivable consumer rights.
